Sebastian Maniscalco headlines sold-out show at Shea's

While many people are buying tickets to see Buffalo native Brian Herberger open at Shea's Performing Arts Center, headliner Sebastian Maniscalco is enough to move sales on his own. Billing himself as “half-Sicilian, half Italian,”  Maniscalco is ready to bring the laughs to the sold-out Shea’s comedy show March 25.

The Chicago-born comedian moved to Los Angeles in the early 2000s in order to pursue his dreams of standup. He worked his way up to earn a Comedy Central special and continued touring. Maniscalco caught the attention of actor and producer Vince Vaughn, who hired him for his “Wild West Comedy Show” tour and film.

Maniscalco continues to keep a busy touring schedule as his popularity continues to grow. His latest special, “Why Would You Do That?,” premiered on Showtime and is now available on DVD.

Along with fellow comic Pete Correale, Maniscalco co-hosts a weekly podcast, “The Pete and Sebastian Show.” Maniscalco also recently appeared on the Jerry Seinfeld streaming series, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”
