Busy Buffalo mom gets advice on 'Steve Harvey'

A single Buffalo mother juggling her career and family is offered guidance on finding a balance in her life and work on "Steve Harvey" airing at 1 p.m. March 22 on WUTV (Fox).

Two years ago, Felicia Stanley was promoted to chief of staff to Common Council President Darius Pridgen which meant she needed to be available for night meetings and weekends - basically 24/7. The new responsibilities made it difficult for her to spend time with her children Jai, 16, and Janiyah, 14, and to generally find balance in her life.

Stanley was visited in her Buffalo home by best-selling author Greg McKeown, who wrote about the work-life balance in his book "Essentialism.” He took her through the steps of essentialism to help her discern what is really important in her life. They then joined Steve Harvey on his show for the episode that airs March 22. For more information on "Steve Harvey," visit steveharveytv.com.
