What better way to kiss winter goodbye than with a free ice cream cone?

Sure, it would be nice if the weather were a bit warmer, but free ice cream is free ice cream, right?

To celebrate the first day of spring, participating Dairy Queen locations are giving away one free small vanilla soft-serve cone per customer. The deal is valid while supplies last.

Stores will also be accepting donations for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, which benefit children's hospitals, medical research and community awareness. The company collected $200,000 in donations on Free Cone Day last year, and has raised a total of $120 million over the last 32 years.
