Anyone familiar with hip-hop megastar Drake knows his passion for his birthplace, Toronto, Ont. His 2016 album, "Views," was littered with references to "the 6," while Drake's sideline antics at Raptors games are frequent SportsCenter fodder.

In his new playlist "More Life," Drake extends his love a little farther to the south, dropping Queen City-tinted lyrics in "Can't Have Everything."

"We evolved, used to think vacation meant Niagara Falls / Swear to God, shout to Buffalo, never duckin' low" is the lyric from the track. KISS 98.5's DJ RanKan plugged the verse on Twitter, receiving quite the social media reception.

The Canadian superstar has played Buffalo three times over the past four years - in December 2013 in First Niagara Center, in June 2014 at Darien Lake with Lil Wayne, and in August 2016 in First Niagara Center - and his most recent visit easily sold out the venue, impressing notoriously hard-to-impress music critic Jeff Miers.
