A Berkshire Avenue man arrested on weapons and other charges is accused of firing a shotgun twice during a sidewalk argument with others about 3 p.m. Sunday.

Dennis B. Thomas, 54, is charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree-menacing and second-degree harassment. Police said the weapon that was fired, a 12-gauge shotgun, was found in a closet at his home.
