JAMESTOWN – A teenaged driver was seriously injured Tuesday night when his car crashed into several parked vehicles, Jamestown police said Thursday.
According to Jamestown police, officers observed Joshua M. Verrett, 19, of Jamestown, driving on Falconer and Thayer streets in a manner that was inappropriate for road conditions at the time. Shortly after, they said, Verrett's vehicle collided into two parked cars on Falconer. After receiving medical assistance on the scene, Verrett was transported to WCA Hospital and then transferred to UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, Pa., for treatment, police said.
Police said charges are expected in the accident.
