Michael P. McCrayer, 29, of Buffalo, pleaded guilty Thursday afternoon in Amherst Town Court to seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and other charges linked to his late night arrest Dec. 7 on a Dartmouth Avenue lawn in Buffalo.
Under a plea deal, McCrayer also pleaded guilty before Justice Geoffrey Klein to unlawfully fleeing a police officer, reckless driving and four Amherst parking ticket charges.
Following a vehicle pursuit, Amherst police originally filed 27 charges against McCrayer, including tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, marijuana possession and 18 vehicle and traffic infractions.
McCrayer faces sentencing June 7.
Defense attorney Leonard E. Krawczyk Jr., prosecutors and McCrayer all declined comment.
