NOCO Express has some of the best customer service in the country, according to a survey by gas price aggregator GasBuddy.
The store chain was ranked No. 5 for the category of "Best Customer Service" according to data pulled from more than 7 million ratings via the rating and review feature of GasBuddy's mobile app. More than 800,000 respondents participated.
Kwik Trip, a Wisconsin-based convenience store, nabbed the top spot followed by Oklahoma-based QuikTrip, Iowa-based Hy-Vee and Pennsylvania-based Wawa.
In addition to the customer service category, more than 130 convenience stores with 30 locations or more competed in the categories "Cleanest Restrooms," "Best Coffee" and "Overall Experience."
NOCO executive vice president Michael F. Newman said it was "good to see associates' hard work recognized" by consumers.
The convenience store and gas station chain has 37 locations in Erie and Niagara Counties. NOCO Express is a branch of the Town of Tonawanda-based NOCO Energy Corp., founded by Reginald B. Newman in 1933. The company is now run by his grandchildren, Jim and Michael Newman.
