Michele M. Carpenter and Jay M. Jordan Jr. wed in Buffalo

Michele M. Carpenter and Jay M. Jordan Jr. were married at 2 p.m. Sept. 3, 2016, in Holy Angels Church, Buffalo. The Rev. David Munoz heard their vows. Guests gathered for a reception at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens in Lancaster. The bride is the daughter of Marc and Geraldine Carpenter of the Town of Niagara. A graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School, she earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the SUNY Fredonia and a master’s degree in literacy from Medaille College. She is a teacher in the Williamsville School District. The bridegroom, son of Jay and Mary Jordan Sr. of Lakeview, is a graduate of Frontier Central High School. He earned an associate degree from Erie Community College and is working as a firefighter for the City of Buffalo. After a trip to Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Buffalo.
