Buffalo man charged with driving while impaired by drugs in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN - A Buffalo man was charged  Saturday with driving impaired by drugs and aggravated unlicensed driving, State Police said.

Justin Blakenship, 34,  was pulled over on Route 60 for a traffic violation, said  police, who added that troopers found a bag containing narcotic pills.

The suspect also was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance,  possession a controlled substance not in its original container and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Police said his license had been suspended six times.

Blankenship faces an appearance in Jamestown City Court.
