Following is a weekly listing of upcoming public events for those interested in health, fitness, nutrition and family support.

Good for the Neighborhood. 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, West Side Community Services, 161 Vermont St.  Program will focus on nutrition, showcasing the free vegetable everyone gets for attending, and there will be a raffle for items that include cutting boards and a crock pot. Those who get health screenings will win a prize.

Ancient Order of Hibernians 125th birthday celebration. And annual St. Patrick’s Day Party, 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls, 101 Old Falls St., Niagara Falls. Music, food and family activities, starting with the world’s smallest St. Patrick’s Day parade at 4:45 p.m. Fireworks at 10:45 p.m. Bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to the Heart, Love & Soul Food Pantry. Advance sale tickets are $9 or $10 at the door; children under 12 are free. Proceeds benefit local charities. The Independent Health Y is working to raise $130,000 to support its outreach and impact throughout the community.
