Collision in Hanover results in minor injuries

TOWN OF HANOVER -- A 17-year-old driver was issued a traffic ticket Thursday by Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies after a two-car collision on Angel Road that caused minor injuries, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said the teenager, a male, allegedly pulled out in front of a vehicle being operated by a 72-year-old Kennedy man who was traveling west on Angel Road. The vehicle driven by the 17-year-old allegedly struck the man's car, according to authorities.

Both drivers were treated at the scene for minor injuries, authorities said.

The 17-year-old was issued a traffic ticket for failure to yield the right of way and was scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court, deputies said.
