City of Tonawanda man imprisoned for North Tonawanda holdup

LOCKPORT - A judge sentenced a City of Tonawanda man Wednesday to one to three years in state prison for robbing a Dollar General store in North Tonawanda last year.

David P. Bush, 28, of Fletcher Street, received the sentence from Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III. Bush stole $288 Jan. 5, 2016, from the store on Twin Cities Memorial Highway, by holding his hand in his pocket as if he had a gun. Bush pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of attempted third-degree robbery.

In another sentencing by Murphy Wednesday, Zachary S. Baldwin, 24, of Kerr Street, Lewiston, was ordered to prison for 1 1/3 to four years for burglarizing a home in the City of Lockport July 8.
