Baker Victory fires worker accused of falsifying report

An employee whose job was to investigate allegations of possible abuse and neglect at Baker Victory Services has been accused of inventing interviews in a report.

Lori Thomas, 43, of Angola, is charged with falsifying business records in the first degree, a class E felony. She has been fired. Thomas is scheduled to appear in court March 14.

Investigators allege that Thomas included several fabricated accounts of interviews in an investigative report.

Baker Victory provides treatment and residential care for individuals with developmental disabilities and other needs.
