Arrest made in double shooting near City Honors

Buffalo police have arrested a suspect involved in a double shooting Monday night near Michigan Avenue and Best Street. The department announced the arrest on Twitter just before 4 a.m. No further details have been released.

The shooting happened just after 11:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Best, police have previously said. The two teen victims were both male, but no further identifying information was released by police. One victim was shot twice in the back.

One of the teens was released from Erie County Medical Center and the other was still being treated Tuesday morning for non-life-threatening injuries, police have said.
