"Friday Night Laughs," the regular comedy series held at the Tralf Music Hall in downtown Buffalo, returns with stand-up acts Capone, Talent Harris, Rob Stapleton, Mark Viera and Drew Fraser for two shows on March 10. Dubbed “the New York Kings Comedy Tour,” the comedians will perform two shows on one night.
Capone served as the host of the long-running television show “Showtime at the Apollo” and brings a high-energy act on stage. Harris offers a commanding stage presence, while Fraser displays a unique, high-pitch style. Stapleton’s jokes come fast and furious, and Viera offers funny stories about his family and Latino upbringing.
The five comedians have a number of television and movie credits, including appearances on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam” and “Bad Boys of Comedy,” “Laffapolza,” BET’s “Comicview” and specials on Showtime and Comedy Central.
Showtimes are at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. March 10. Tickets are on sale at the Tralf box office (622 Main St.) and Ticketmaster outlets. General admission seats are $36 in advance, or $41 on the day of the show.
