We know there's no homeroom today. But we're up and ready to go.

Get yourself ready for today's #PrepTalkLive action with everything you need to know about the day ahead in high school sports.

What to watch for Sunday

1. Girls basketball - Section VI finals at Buffalo State

Class A-1
- 1-Williamsville South vs. 3-Hamburg, noon
Class A-2
- 3-Amherst vs. 4-Olean, 2 p.m.
Class B-1
- 1-Depew vs. 6-Fredonia, 4 p.m.
Class B-2
- 3-Wilson vs. 5-Medina, 6 p.m.

ECIC II foes Williamsville South and Hamburg kick off Sunday's championship action at Buff State. The Billies, who are looking for their fourth straight A-1 title, swept the Bulldogs in the regular season by an average of 32.5 points. Amherst's Claire Wanzer and Olean's Sara Pfeiffer, two of the top players in Western New York, lead their teams in the second game of the day. The Tigers haven't played in a final since 2010, while the Huskies are the defending overall Class B champs. Winners move on to the overall Class A championship on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

In Class B, No. 1 small school Depew takes on an upset-minded Fredonia crew that eliminated 3-Tonawanda and 2-East Aurora the last two rounds. The Wildcats are led by the senior duo of Aviance Clark and Tess Borgosz, while the Hillbillies will counter with their strong trio of Hannah Cybart, Caitlin Cybart and Katie Price. Rachel Senek, Kayla Neumann and the Lakewomen are looking for their first B-2 title since 2013 against Niagara-Orleans League rival Medina, which ended Wilson's 62-game winning streak against N-O competition this season. The Mustangs feature sophomores Jene Brown and Maddie Williams.  The overall Class B final is Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

2. Boys hockey - State Catholic final at HarborCenter

St. Joe's looks to defend its state title against St. Anthony's, the same school the Marauders beat last year in a 2-1 battle on Long Island. St. Joe's (24-1-2) is on a 21-0-1 run since losing their lone game of the season to Orchard Park on Dec. 16.

3. Bowling - NYSPHSAA Championships

After individual competition on Saturday, Section VI bowlers team up to take on others from around the state in the sectional competition at Gates Lanes in Rochester. Bowling starts at 9 a.m.

Today's schedule can be found at our high school scoreboard.
