MEDINA - Authorities in Orleans County charged a Medina man Wednesday with six drug felonies.
The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force and Medina police arrested Charles J. Knapp, 48, at his East Center Street home, officials said.
Knapp was charged with the possession and sale of Alprazolam, a prescription medication for anxiety and panic disorder sold under several brand names, including Xanax. He faces three counts of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and three counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Knapp was arraigned in Ridgeway Town Court and sent to the Orleans County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.
