The 39th Cheektowaga Polish American Arts Festival will run July 13-16 in Cheektowaga Town Park thanks to a partnership with the town's Chamber of Commerce, Senior Center Foundation and Youth Foundation, with proceeds benefiting the three nonprofit organizations.
“The annual Polish American Arts Festival is an indispensable event for our community and a great opportunity for our Polish community to come together and celebrate their heritage,” said Town Supervisor Diane Benczkowski.
Cheektowaga musical groups scheduled to perform include Cheektowaga Community Symphony Orchestra, Special Delivery, Touch, Rare Vintage and Villa Maria Chorale. Also performing are Lenny Gomulka & Chicago Push Orchestra from Ludlow, Mass., The Boys from Millersville, Md., Polish Heritage Dancers of WNY from Buffalo and The Beat from Randolph, N.J.
Visitors will be able to feast on ethnic cuisine from Potts Deli & Grille and Polish Villa II, and then watch the Pulaski Parade on Harlem Road, from Walden Avenue to Cheektowaga Town Park. The parade will be presented July 16 by the General Pulaski Association.
