Buffalo man pleads guilty to Amherst store theft

Anthony Favors, 29, of Buffalo, pleaded guilty in Amherst Town Court Wednesday to a reduced larceny charge in the theft of over $1,000 worth of property on Nov. 29 from a retail store on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

Justice  Kara A. Buscaglia told Favors she is considering placing him on probation when he returns to court for sentencing April 19. Amherst police arrested Favors on a felony grand larceny charge. Under a deal with the district attorney's office, Favors pleaded guilty to petit larceny.
