A vestibule in a Bank of Akron branch in the Village of Akron was vandalized over the weekend, according to the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
On the Sheriff’s Office website, it said members of its detective bureau, and the Village of Akron Police Department Tuesday were seeking the public’s help in identifying two men who were caught on surveillance video during the incident Saturday.
Those responsible face felony criminal mischief charges, according to police.
Akron police contacted Sheriff’s detectives following the incident in which they said two males entered an ATM vestibule at the bank and caused a significant amount of damage inside the space.
The vandals did not, however, damage the ATM machine, police said.
Those who might be able to identify the two in the security footage are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 858-2903.
