Pair charged after police find meth-making materials in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN - Two people were arrested Tuesday morning after police found materials for making methamphetamine in a car during a traffic stop, the State Police said.

A trooper pulled the car over at about 1:30 a.m. at 6th and Main streets, authorities said.

A 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were arrested. Officials said the names of the suspects would be released once they have been charged.

No further details were released. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
