What to watch for Monday
1. Boys hockey - Super Monday at KeyBank Center
Niagara Cup: 1-St. Joe's vs. 3-Canisius, 4 p.m.
These arch-rivals meet for the third year in a row to battle it out for the Niagara Cup. The Marauders won last year, while the Crusaders won in 2015. St. Joe's took the first matchup against Canisius this season, 4-0, on Jan. 16 and the two teams played to a 1-1 tie on Feb. 2. Read up on how the teams got past their semifinal opponents here.
Large schools: 1-Williamsville North vs. 4-Lancaster, 6:15 p.m.
Williamsville North and Niagara-Wheatfield have been staples in the large schools final over the years, so this matchup is a welcome change for Lancaster. The Spartans and Legends split their regular-season games. Lancaster opened the season with a 4-2 win over North, while the Spartans returned the favor with a 2-0 win on Jan. 26.
Small schools: 4-Kenmore West vs. 7-West Seneca East, 8:30 p.m.
Kenmore West and West Seneca East both earned one-goal wins over higher seeds last week to move on to tonight's final. The Trojans, a Division 3 team, topped the Blue Devils, who are in Division 4, in their only game this season by a score of 4-1.
2. Boys basketball - Section VI semifinals at Buffalo State
- 1-East Aurora vs. 5-Dunkirk, 6 p.m.

Newfane-MST Seneca is a rematch of the second game of the season, which the Panthers won on their home court, 56-43. Newfane (15-6) got 33 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists from sophomore Max Weber in its 78-53 quarterfinal win over 6-Depew. Earl Howard is the high-scorer for the Indians (17-4).
