Aggravated DWI charge lodged in City of Tonawanda near-miss

City of Tonawanda Police charged a Buffalo man with aggravated driving while intoxicated after he nearly crashed into the gazebo in the middle of Clinton Park about 3:20 a.m. Saturday.

Gregory A. Reberholt, 28, of Ontario Street, posted a blood-alcohol level of 0.19 percent, more than twice the state's legal limit. Capt. Fredric Foels said Reberholt veered off the traffic circle in Clinton Park and came to a stop just a few feet in front of the gazebo. He also was charged with traffic infractions.
