Two teenagers were arrested in the second block of Newburgh Avenue about 1 a.m. Saturday for possession of a stolen handgun, Buffalo police said.
Police said the handgun and bullets were found in a van linked to the two suspects. The handgun was reported stolen in Bradford, Pa., last March, according to police.
Both suspects - 17 and 18 years old - were charged with felony counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. The van was impounded by police.
The 17-year-old also was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Both suspects remained in custody in Erie County Holding Center Saturday night.
