Man and two women arrested after Millicent Avenue incident
Three people were arrested after a woman was assaulted and threatened with a handgun during an argument in the 300 block Millicent Avenue about 3:50 a.m. Saturday.
The suspects were identified as Herman Billingsley-Thomas, 29, of George Street, and Shaneaqua Devost, 24, and Crystal Harris, 49, both of Millicent. Police said Devost tried to push the victim down a flight of stairs after Billingsley-Thomas punched her in the face and threatened her with a handgun. The gun, police said, was recovered.
Billingsley-Thomas was charged with a felony count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree assault, second-degree menacing, second-degree harassment, unlawful possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child who was present during the attack, police said.
Devost and Harris were charged each with obstructing governmental administration. They are accused of hindering police from searching for the gun. Devost also was charged with second-degree harassment.
Billingsley-Thomas and Devost remained in Erie County Holding Center Saturday night.
