LOCKPORT – State Police reported Monday they arrested a Lockport man on drug charges Saturday following a traffic stop.
Aaron S. Wysochanski, 19, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree possession of marijuana in addition to a traffic charge, failing to yield the right of way while making a left turn, according to authorities.
Troopers said Wysochanski was stopped on Transit Road in the Town of Lockport for failing to yield when entering the roadway.
Officers said they smelled a strong odor of marijuana as they approached the vehicle. They said a search turned up Alprazolam pills.
