The scoop:

The teams from the Msgr. Martin Athletic Association have been beating each other up this season, and it has taken a toll in the polls. Williamsville South has moved up into the top spot, with four MMAA teams right behind them. East Aurora remains tops among small schools.

In the girls poll, Cardinal O'Hara heads into the playoffs in its usual spot as first in the rankings among large schools. The small school poll is still a little crowded, but a closing rush by Depew has the Wildcats on top of this week's poll.
