Adult, child need shelter after fire in South Buffalo apartment

A fire at a South Buffalo apartment left an adult and child without shelter early Thursday morning.

The blaze at 129 Arbour Lane was reported at about 3 a.m., according to the Buffalo Fire Department Alarm Office. The fire started in a first-floor bedroom, the Alarm Office said.

The Red Cross was called to assist the adult and child.

Damage to the two-story building was estimated at $60,000. No injuries were reported.
