Medina's Cooper receives offer from Boston College

Three-sport star Jalin Cooper of Medina has received a Division I football scholarship offer from Boston College, the junior announced via Twitter.

That is Cooper's third Division I football offer as the 6-foot-5, 170-pounder with blazing speed also has received offers from University at Buffalo and Toledo.

Cooper also plays basketball and runs track. He is the reigning Section VI Division II champion in the 100- and 200-meter dashes.

Boston College, a member of the powerful Atlantic Coast Conference, has kept an eye on football talent in the area recently, as News Player of the Year Isaiah McDuffie of Bennett and Trench Trophy winner Nathan Emer of Iroquois both signed letters of intent earlier this month with the school.
