M&T Bank, which has made greater inroads in New Jersey, has launched a partnership with Rutgers Business School for a business-case analysis competition.
M&T will serve as presenting sponsor for the second annual Rutgers Business School New Jersey County College Case Competition. The Buffalo-based bank is providing financial support for the competition, as well as offering its bankers as advisers to participating community college students throughout New Jersey. M&T declined to say how much it was providing in financial support.
The competition requires students to analyze a real-life business case and present their findings and recommendations to a panel of Rutgers Business School judges. The competition will culminate in a day-long event in Newark on April 7.
M&T has more than 90 branches in New Jersey, after acquiring Hudson City Bancorp.
