Letter: Tea party gatherings were never destructive

Tea party gatherings were never destructive

Regarding the New York Times article in the Feb. 6 News about protesters’ tactics, it appears to be incomplete. If the tactics used by anti-Trump protesters emulated the tea party supporters, they would not wear masks. They would not indiscriminately damage the private property of innocent business owners. They would not feel the need to carry hammers and rocks.

The tea party tactics included leaving no trace of intrusion behind them except for the word of their movement which, obviously, got around without any window breaking.
