Buffalo firefighters rescued one person from the second floor of a house fire at 55 Folger St. on Thursday morning, according to fire department radio transmissions.
The blaze on Folger Street, off Tifft Street, was reported at 6:39 a.m.
Two people were reported to be inside when the blaze began, and one of the persons was out of the home when firefighters arrived. The other was rescued from a second-floor window.
The Red Cross was called to help four adults who lived in the two-family home. Damage was estimated at $110,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
