The Buffalo Auto Show will look out for your health and wellness when it rolls into the city this week.
"Wellness Lane" will offer health-related screenings and information as part of the show, which will run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, 153 Franklin St.
The wellness fair will be in the Board Room adjacent to Room 106 on the first floor of the convention center.
It will feature free blood pressure and bone density screenings, as well as resources courtesy of the Erie County Department of Health, Catholic Health, Buffalo Sunrise Rotary, Explore Buffalo, and the Wellness Institute of Greater Buffalo.
Information will be provided about community wellness and walking programs, and Buffalo area attractions.
“Wellness Lane offers a powerful example of community collaboration to improve health," said Phil Haberstro, executive director of the Wellness Institute. "Building healthy communities is most effectively accomplished when government, businesses, citizens and non-profits work together to address the health issues that affect us all. We are most grateful to the Niagara Frontier Automobile Dealers Association for their support of Wellness Lane.
