A 28-year-old Buffalo man has pleaded not guilty to a second-degree murder charge, the Erie County District Attorney's Office announced Monday.
Buffalo police arrested Raquise Bryant in connection to a fatal stabbing last September. Investigators believe Raheem Malone was stabbed once in the chest during an argument on Sept. 24. The attack occurred at about 10:30 p.m. near 1780 Genesee St., according to prosecutors.
Malone was pronounced dead a short time later at Erie County Medical Center.
State Supreme Court Justice Christopher J. Burns ordered Bryant held without bail.
Buffalo homicide detectives Timothy Salamone and Terrance Supples investigated the case, with assistance from State Police Investigator Kevin Kendall.
