What's new: We have a new No. 1 team in the boys large school rankings. St. Francis has jumped up to the top spot, but the Red Raiders and Williamsville South both received four first-place votes. And teams like Park, Bishop Timon/St. Jude and Canisius are lurking in the background. It's anyone's race. In the small schools poll, East Aurora maintained its solid lead.

On the girls side, Cardinal O'Hara has gotten every first-place vote this season, and nothing changed. A Section VI playoff game between Williamsville South and Lake Shore might be the game of the year. The small school race remains muddled with three teams receiving first-place votes. There are some very good records there.
