JAMESTOWN - Two Jamestown residents are facing drug, child endangerment and animal cruelty charges after Jamestown and State Police officers executed a search warrant Friday at an East Second Street apartment.
Police said they found more than 28 grams of cocaine, marijuana, illegal fireworks and more than $9,000 in cash. A child was in the house during the raid at 8:45 a.m., police said.
In addition, investigators seized two dogs, including a malnourished dog chained to a pipe in the basement of the house. Both dogs were taken to a shelter.
Eric L. Reese, 30, and Nichole J. Farrar, 28, were both charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child and cruelty to animals.
Jamestown police said the investigation is continuing.
