A woman died Wednesday night after she was found with air duster cans in her possession in the bathroom at Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls, according to police.
Cans of air duster are commonly used for "huffing," or inhaling in order to get high. The woman was apparently suffering from cardiac arrest and later was pronounced dead at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, the Town of Niagara Police said in a Facebook post.
Emergency responders were called to the mall at about 7 p.m. The woman, whose name was not released, was treated on the scene before she was transported to the hospital, police said. The cause of death will be determined by the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office.
