Tuscarora smoke shop clerk pleads guilty to stealing at least $10,000

LOCKPORT - A former employee at Randy's Smoke Shop on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation pleaded guilty Wednesday to stealing at least $10,000 from the business in 2015.

Nicholas T. Patterson, 31, of Upper Mountain Road, Lewiston, admitted to fourth-degree grand larceny in an appearance before State Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski.

Patterson stole money from the gasoline receipts between Aug. 3 and Nov. 22, 2015, according to Niagara County Assistant District Attorney John N. Philipps  Jr. The the amount was somewhere between $10,000 and $14,000, and a restitution figure likely will be determined before sentencing on April 7.
