Why were some countries excluded from Trump’s list?

The Trump administration is telling the American people that the recent executive order banning immigration from seven Middle Eastern and African countries is designed to make the country safer from a terrorist attack. You may think this all well and good, but notably absent were four countries the 9/11 hijackers originated from. They are Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon. Is it just a coincidence that Trump has business dealings in these locations or something more? Even if you are inclined to agree with the immigration ban, you should be wondering why these four were left off the list.
