Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio has undergone hip surgery, the team announced Thursday.

Kouandjio suffered a hip injury "when he fell in his home," the club said in a release.

"He underwent successful surgery (Wednesday), and it is anticipated that he will be ready for training camp," the Bills said.

This is the latest setback in what has been a disappointing career for Kouandjio since he joined the Bills as a second-round draft pick from Alabama in 2014.

He has yet to crack the starting lineup, and it doesn't appear as if he will make any sort of impact in the coming season.
