Power was back on for all 2,587 customers affected by outages in the Town of Hamburg by about 7:44 p.m. Tuesday, according to a spokesman for New York State Electric and Gas.

The outage, in the Route 20 and Camp Road areas, was caused by a deteriorated section of a power line in the area, according to the NYSEG spokesman.

Power was reported out for those customers for two hours and five minutes, according to the utility.

The power in that part of the Southtowns was reported out sometime before 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to NYSEG.
