JAMESTOWN - Three men face drug possession charges after police recovered nearly 25 pounds of marijuana and almost a half-pound of crystal meth from three locations on Wednesday.
Jamell E. Trapp, 25, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Trapp had about a half-pound of methamphetamine and a pound of marijuana when he was arrested at 22 Spring St. Ext., the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force said.
Authorities charged Luis Antonio Deleon-Lopez, 25, with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Deleon-Lopez had about 11 1/2 pounds of marijuana when he was arrested at 20 W. 13th St., police said.
Raymond Jiminez-Valentin, 25, was also charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana. He had about 12 pounds of marijuana when he was arrested at 129 Fulton St., according to the task force, which was assisted by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team.
The three men were being held in the Jamestown city jail awaiting arraignment.
