Lockport motorist detoured to jail on drug charges

A Lockport motorist who neglected to signal he was turning from Chadduck Avenue onto Oregon Place about 6 p.m. Monday ended up behind bars on drug charges, Buffalo police said.

Andrew Wills, 29, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. Officers reported finding a hyodermic needle with brown liquid and two glass pipes containing crack cocaine.

The suspect remained in Erie County Holding Center Tuesday night.
