Caroline Kita and Daniel E. Warren were married at 11 a.m. on Oct. 15 in St. Francis Xavier College Church, St Louis, Mo. Guests gathered for a reception at the Missouri History Museum. The Rev. Daniel White of St. Louis heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are William J. and Kathleen Kita of Hamburg. The bridegroom’s parents are Phillip and Monique Warren of San Marcos, Calif. The bride, a graduate of Nardin Academy, earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and also earned a doctorate in German studies from Duke University. The bride is an assistant professor in the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures at Washington University in St. Louis. The groom, a graduate of San Marcos High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in wildlife, fisheries and conservation biology from the University of California, Davis, and also earned a doctorate in biology from Brown University. He is am associate professor in the Biology Department at St. Louis University. The couple have made their home in St. Louis.
