LOCKPORT - A Lockport woman faces grand larceny and petit larceny charges after state police said she stole a purse in a grocery store earlier this month.
Brittney Steblein, 27, was charged Sunday for the Dec. 3 incident, according to state police. She is accused of taking a purse that was left unattended in a Save-A-Lot store on South Transit Road.
Steblein was identified through security footage and admitted to the theft during an interview, troopers said. She was issued an appearance ticket for Lockport Town Court.
