A Lackawanna man was charged with felony driving while intoxicated early Sunday after his vehicle went off the road in Orchard Park, police said.
A caller reported a vehicle off the road just after 3 a.m. in front of a dealership on Southwestern Boulevard, police said in a news release.
The operator of the vehicle, Joseph Cecala, 61, was found to be intoxicated and arrested, police said. He submitted to a breath test, which revealed a blood-alcohol content of 0.17 percent, police said.
A check of his driving record showed previous convictions for DWI, elevating the offense to a felony, police said. He also was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation for allegedly driving with a revoked license due to a previous alcohol conviction.
He was arraigned in town court and released.
