Buffalo among least 'Bible-minded' cities in America

How many people in your neighborhood read the Bible on a weekly basis?

If you live in Buffalo, the answer is lower than the national average.

With 13 percent of residents surveyed reporting as "Bible-minded," Buffalo was listed as one of the least Bible-minded cities in the Barna Group and American Bible Society's 2016 survey of the top 100 U.S. media markets.

The annual survey defined "Bible-minded" as "respondents who said they had read the Bible in the past seven day"s and "believe strongly in the accuracy of the Bible."

  • Boston, Mass./Manchester, N.H.
  • Albany/Schenectady/Troy, N.Y.

Chattanooga, Tenn., was ranked first as the most Bible-minded city in America.
