Power Vista sets holiday activity for kids Dec. 10

LEWISTON - The Power Vista, the visitor center at the Niagara Power Project, will host a "Deck the Halls" event for kids from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.

Santa Claus will be on hand to pose for photos with children from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be crafts, face painting, ornament decoration with the University Heights Arts Association, and refreshments sold by Lewiston Boy Scout Troop 855, starting at 11 a.m.

The schedule of performances includes Miss Bev's Dance Studio at 11 and concerts by the combined band of Harry F. Abate and Geraldine J. Mann elementary schools at 1 and 3 p.m. Free rides on the Niagara Scenic Trolley between the Power Vista and the Gorge Discovery Center will be available during the event.

Donations of nonperishable food for the benefit of local food banks will be collected in the Power Vista reception area.
