Sinclairville man arrested for felony DWI

GERRY – James N. Emmott, 59, of Nelson Hill Road, Sinclairville, was pulled over on Rt. 60 here by Chautauqua County Sheriff deputies about 5:30 p.m. Friday for numerous traffic infractions.

Once parked, he was found to be intoxicated and to have had a DWI conviction within the last decade, officials said.

Emmott was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, common laws driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and crossing a hazard line on the roadway. He was ordered to appear in Gerry Town Court in several weeks.
